Khirisak Tantinawachai, commander-in-chief of the Narcotics Suppression unit, says police were alerted by a young Thai woman who is studying in Australia. The woman had posted on social media, offering to transport items on her upcoming return flight to Australia. She then received a payment of 3,500 baht from a man who asked her to transport what he said was a “woman’s purse”.
