Amateur Radio In Pattaya

Featured Replies

Hi,

being a licensed radio amateur, I bought some 145Mhz equipment to be on the air. There is a lot of Thai traffic on the repeaters here, but whenever I call CQ nobody dares to answer me in English. It is quite frustrating, talking to myself ;-)

Are there any farangs who would be interested to have a regular meeting on the air on a weekly base? That would be fun and bring us some alternative entertainment in Pattaya.

Please feel free to PM me.....

use the cell-phone silly if you want to talk to someone.

Might also be illegal to have such equipment without permission from authorities who control frequencies.

Use some HF plenty of english speakers there.
