Nakhon Ratchasima—At 7:15 PM, on March 2nd, 2024, Muang Nakhon Ratchasima police officers received a shooting report in front of Center Point Hotel at Terminal 21 Korat, Nakhon Ratchasima, resulting in one injury.

During the incident time, there were many visitors shopping. After the gunshots were fired chaos erupted as many thought it was a similar incident that happened, dated back on February 8th, 2020, as a soldier went on a rampage and mass shot people at Terminal 21 Korat. As a result, there were 30 casualties and 58 injuries.

Upon Nakhon Ratchasima police and the emergency team’s arrival, Mr. Natdanai Leklak, a 30-year-old security guard at Center Point Hotel, was found shot six times by a Thai with an improvised shotgun. The emergency services performed first aid before transferring the victim to a local hospital for immediate medical treatment.

Shot 6 times with an improvised shotgun.

Wow that shooter is a quick reloader.  Single or double barrel?

I doubt it was semi auto being improvised  but the shooter must have had a fair gripe to unload 6 shots.

From the link

According to the police report, Natdanai, who despite his wounds was conscious and alert, told the police that before the incident the culprit, publicly identified only as Mr. Supapornphong, a chef at Center Point Hotel, was fired as he had allegedly snuck alcoholic beverages into work 3 times.

Natdanai was the one who reported the drinking to his supervisor, causing Supapornphong to lose his job. As a result, the situation escalated; Natdanai and Supapornphong had a heated argument before Supapornphong allegedly went back to his room and brought a firearm to commit the crimes.

Lost his job, and now his freedom.

Absolute nonsense.... As I was within 10 meters of the incident, I can confirm there was one shot from an improvised shotgun and no mass panic, save for a few shops shuttering after they heard it was a gunshot, meanwhile people believed it was an electrical transformer or even a balloon..
