This unique hairstyle aligns with the current severe situation of thick smoke from forest fires in many provinces, particularly in Chiang Mai, which ranks among the world’s most polluted cities. The haze has engulfed the area for over a month, prompting both government and private sectors to campaign for a cessation of all open burning activities. In one hair salon in Chom Thong, Chiang Mai, the owner, Maitree Muangthong also known as Boy emphasizes the importance of this issue.
