As Muslims around the world gather to mark the end of Ramadan, the Thailand’s Islamic community at the historic Tonson Mosque joined the Eid al-Fitr prayer during the early hours of this morning.

 

Tonson Mosque is the oldest mosque in Bangkok. This significant event drew attendees to the mosque and its community in Thonburi district of Bangkok, symbolising a communal embrace of peace, gratitude, and renewal.

 

As the sun began to rise, entire families, dressed in vibrant traditional attire, arrived together, reflecting the diverse tapestry of Bangkok’s Muslim community.
