Police have found the severed hands of an 18-year-old girl, who was allegedly killed by her boyfriend earlier this week. Her body was found dumped beneath an elevated expressway in Pathum Thani on Wednesday.
The girls hands and other items of clothing and hair were found 4 kilometers away. 


The girls 18 year old boyfriend was arrested on Wednesday. 

 

Red Bull energy drink tycoon Chalerm Yoo-vidhya has filed a second defamation lawsuit against a news outlet and four individuals, seeking 50 million baht in damages over allegations of bribery. The lawsuit addresses claims made by a former police officer turned columnist, who alleged that a 300-million-baht bribe was paid to prevent his son Vora-yuth, from facing prosecution after fatally hitting a police officer on Sukhumvit Road in 2012.


The National Committee on Migrant Workers Management has approved guidelines aimed at easing the country's labour shortage and addressing the problem of illegal workers in Thailand. 


The conflict in Myanmar caused many people to flee to Thailand without documents, the committee has agreed to register illegal workers from Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam, and looked into extending the work permits by 2 years for 2 million migrants whose permits are due to expire in February next year.

 

Three Chinese tourists were injured when a long tailed tourist boat hit a navy ferry in the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok yesterday afternoon. The injured were taken to hospital and the longtail boat sank at the scene.

Malaysia Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has criticized the association of southeast asian nations ‘Asean’, saying the group needs to move from mere rhetoric to concrete action, adding..they now appear to “plod along by fact of existence” 


Speaking in Kuala lumpur last night Mr Anwar pledged to tackle this issue as part of a redoubling of efforts to strengthen the regional grouping.
