Vietnam Train Trips
I'm shortly heading to Vietnam and want to go to Ho Chi Minh, Nha Trang and Da Nang (will do Hanoi next time). I've worked out the following daylight train trips to hopefully see a lot of the countryside. Ho Chi Minh to Phan Thiet (4.35 hrs - 06:30 - 11:05) Phan Thiet to Nha Trang (3.53 hrs - 09:46 - 13:39) Nha Trang to Quy Nhon (4.30 hrs - 13:59 - 18:29) Quy Nhon to Da Nang (5.23 hrs - 08:17 - 13:40) Any thoughts? Am I missing a great place or maybe wasting my time stopping in Phan Thiet or Quy Nhon? (as I'm just trying to shorten the daily train journey) I've downloaded 12Go travel app which seems to be easy way to buy the train tickets? -

The usual practice is to test an unobtrusive area of the plastic with the solvent. It's quite easy to tell if it is attacked. -

Thailand to tax residents’ foreign income irrespective of remittance
I'll wait and see what happens next year with this annoying, planed tax fishing. For 2025 I plan to stay in Thailand for under 180 days. Instead, Portugal and Greece in the summer. Plus Vietnam and Philippines when it's too cold in Europe. I can also spend my money elsewhere. Problem solved. -

Any real men in this generation
I also hitchhiked all over Europe in my youth and all over Lappland and hitchhiked most of the way from Europe to Calcutta. From there I flew to Bangkok and then hitched from there down to Singapore where I stayed in the Sikh Temple for several weeks until I could board a ship to Australia. When I arrived in Australia in late December 1964 I hitchhiked from Perth to Adelaide, Melbourn, Sydney, Brisbane, Mount Isa, Camooweal, Darwin. In those years I was also able to avoid fights. However, after returning to the USA to my hometown of San Francisco it wasn't long before I was getting into fights on the street. They could not be avoided. In fact, after I started driving a taxi I hired an old time boxer to train me at Newman's boxing gym on Leavenworth Street. I learned a lot from him and was able to knock two suits on their asses in front of the Buena Vista Cafe. My point being that only a fool would be so idealistic as to go through life without learning how to defend himself. Would you board a passenger ship and cross the Atlantic on it if it had no lifeboats? -

I have found acetone to be the most effective solvent for removing sticker adhesive, PROVIDED THAT it does not attack the underlying substrate. IIRC I bought a 1 litre container on Lazada. -
