5 year multiple entry DTV visa (Destination Thailand) from 2024-xx-xx
Went to 3 branches of SCB (Purple bank) with my DTV. Only one manager when she saw my copy of yellow book said that they will open account if bring the original YB (which I've lost) + driver license. One said 6month stamp is not enough, only 1 year One said only WP is good, or get out of here. SCB denied to open account on ED visa for me, while Bangkok Krungthai and Krungsri did. So I take it as a success. -

I don't know the relation with Foreign banks and Thailand, but a lot of people had been warned or had their accounts abroad closed already and the banks requiring the account holder(s) now to be resident in the country where they opened the bank account. Seems that even the banks don't want to be involved in the Thai plans. -

Good. Cigarette smokers who let their smoke stink up the air that other people have to breathe are self centered pigs. Secondhand smoke is a proven risk to non smokers. And THIS IS A HOSPITAL! Smoking in or near a hospital is a particularly heinous type of calloused indifference. So you smokers have an addiction and I sympathize. But be considerate and responsible and take it where you don't bother anyone. Are heroin addicts allowed to shoot up in public and splatter their blood all over others? Are they allowed to sit at a bar or a table or stand outside a hospital and shoot up? Why not? The only reason cigarettes are still legal is the amount of money that is made by ultra rich megacorporations and the money they line the pockets of politicians with while knowing they are making people get sick and die. Cigarette pigs deserve to be locked in a small room and quarantined with their disgusting habit. I mean, you could switch to vaping which will still kill you but at least it won't stink. Now a humorous comparison - suppose someone with extreme flatulence sat down at your dinner table and farted silently and continuously throughout the meal? Nothing wrong with it except that it is sickening, offensive, and inconsiderate. Just like cigarette pigs. Oink. -

He was sarcastic. The intent was to attract attention to the selfishness of smokers. It is frustrating for a physician treating heart and lung diseases to be confronted by idiots who smoke inside and near the entrances of hospitals. -

Will pepper spray stop dog attacks
Yes and No. there're a lot of rubbish "pepper sprays" available on the market. I tried few [don't ask why] and it only made them angrier. The Dazer >>> Ultrasonic device that should "put fear" in them. Lots of garbage. Yes it works but only on some idiot mongrels roaming around, but in "attack mode" - nope. I bought it on Ebay - only annoys them. Surprisingly electro-shocker's "buzzing and flickering" does the job, but again when they are in the "team work" - nah, not that efficient. So one very nice old lad from SAAS told me to stop "f****ing around and just DYI" After all we live in the bloody hot and cheap chili country. 10 thb a bag, good sprinkler (1m distance 200ml), add the cheapest vinegar and few drops of oil (to stick on the fur). You can have the most lethal device below 100thb. That will bring hell on their snouts and eyes. You'll never see them again. Proven. PS: This is very hardcore, you can make a cloud or "shoot" directly. Keep in mind you'll bring unbearable suffering on silly dumb mutts. PPS: SAAS veteran suggested to add bleach, but I consider this treatment as too extreme. Dog might go blind.- 1
