Thailand Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra has surged to the top of the charts in a LINE Today poll, placed first among Thailand’s political elite. The poll, conducted from September 10 to 20, revealed that the country’s 31st Prime Minister and second female leader outpaced her rivals by a wide margin.

Chinese man calls Thai women prostitutes sparking online outrage

Two Thai women shared their experience of being insulted by a Chinese national who called them prostitutes on TikTok. A well-known American teacher and many netizens condemned the incident.

Polish Passenger Threatens to Bomb Plane Mid-air on Flight to Bangkok

The incident unfolded on September 26, aboard VZ 961, a Thai Vietjet flight traveling from Da Nang to Suvarnabhumi International Airport, when a Polish woman, identified as Ms. Myrcik, allegedly threatened to bomb the plane mid-flight. The flight had 121 passengers and six crew members on board.

Chiang Mai Hospital Floods, Halts Non-Urgent Care

A sudden surge of floodwater inundated Chiang Mai last night, severely affecting Lanna 3 Hospital. Flood levels rose to between knee and waist height in Soi Sukkasem, compelling the hospital to halt non-urgent care until Monday, 30th September, 2024.

Man Withdraws Government Cash, Buys Liquor for Celebration, Gets Drunk and Falls into Canal

A man who withdrew the government hand out, chose to celebrate by getting drunk and fell into a canal, in  Udon Thai province. He was rescued after a search, with relatives, who had prepared for the worst left stunned by his survival.

A dash cam recorded the moment an object pierced through a vehicle's windshield, striking the driver and causing a crash near the Bangchak gas station on the Chonburi city bypass road heading towards Bangkok.
