On October 2nd, officials in Uthai Thani province gathered at the Incident Command Center to discuss how best to assist the victims of a deadly school bus fire. The meeting, chaired by the governor of Uthai Thani, Teerapat Khachamat, included government agencies and families of the students and teachers from Wat Khao Phraya Sangkharam School who lost their lives in the incident.

Originally planned for today, the identification process for the victims began the previous night to speed up procedures. Deputy Interior Minister, Sabida Thaiseth, is on location coordinating support and help for the affected families.

In Lansak district, a local religious official is coordinating with local authorities to organize suitable locations for the cremation ceremonies and to provide refrigerated coffins for the victims' families. There are ongoing efforts to make sure these ceremonies are held with care and respect.

Members of the Royal Volunteers Unit 904 and a mental health team of various experts are also involved in these relief efforts. They are providing emotional support to the families in mourning and to the local community affected by this tragic incident, reported The Pattaya News.
