Condo wants tax details for EV charger ?!
Bought an EV here in Thailand. Honestly it's doing my head in. First week we drove out to Pattaya, and we charged in the hotel - downloaded an app, topped up by QR code, no issue and charged it. Albeit it's still a rip off as you can get the remaining balance back. Now back in Bangkok. Our condo has a horrific app you need to download. This app requires a degree in nuclear physics to operate it. It has levels to it which are not explained. Then the creme da la creme of beaurachy - it requires you to sumbit your tax details. Now i have never heard this before in all my years of fuelling up, even in the UK parents EV cars never had to file any tax information. They claim this is to send you reciepts ?!?!!!? So we were like F this. Go to a superfast charger. This time another app. My god this app required a degree in astrology to get around it. We gave up and somehow on 2% got back to our condo. Utterly bat sheeet insane it is. But my point on asking for your tax reference number is slightly murky. -
