Sha’Carri Richardson addresses domestic violence arrest

Featured Replies

Some background info- Sha'Carri Richardson is a U.S. track star who was a gold and silver medalist at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Christian Coleman is or perhaps better to say was her boyfriend.  He is a professional track athlete, who still competes, but is nowhere near as well-known as Richardson.  Washington state's law on domestic violence makes an arrest mandatory-  the police have no discretion-  even if there are no visible marks and the victim does not want to press charges.
