Nice, Not To Expensive Hotel Or Guest House

Featured Replies

Hey, I have a bunch of friends visiting at the same time next month and can't fit them all in our apartment.

They're low maintenance but not Khao San Road Buddy Lodge low and probably want something that feels at least a little thai (but not Sukhothai Thai, or Sukhothai pricey).

Does anyone have any recommendations for decent places to stay in the city? Where on lower Suk but anywhere on the Sky Train would be great.

The Federal on Soi 11 Sukumvit is quite OK, about baht 1,100-1,200 a night.  My sister and her family group of eight people stayed there 3-4 times over two months last December & January.  Decent coffee shop, close to other eateries, not far, about 8 min, walk to the Nana Skytrain station.
