Trump: ICE Raids Need to Intensify, Judges to Blame

In a striking statement, US President Trump asserted that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids on immigrants have not been aggressive enough. He cited interference from "liberal judges" as the primary obstacle, claiming they have been a hindrance to his immigration crackdown. Trump expressed approval of the current tactics, noting the importance of removing people from the country.

As part of enforcing stricter immigration policies, ICE has conducted neighbourhood raids across the United States. Incidents have included the use of tear gas in Chicago and aggressive tactics like smashing car windows to extract drivers. A viral video showing an agent tackling a mother has sparked significant public discussion.

A lawsuit against CBS's parent company delayed Trump's first interview on 60 Minutes in five years, making it a notable event. During the interview with Norah O’Donnell, Trump conveyed dissatisfaction with delays in immigration actions, attributing them to judges appointed by Biden and Obama.

The interview spanned various topics, including foreign affairs with China and Venezuela, the US government shutdown, and his prospects for the 2028 presidential race. The conversation marked Trump’s expanded dialogue on multiple fronts as he reasserts his stance on contentious issues, reported CBS News.

Looking forward, Trump's comments may reignite debates over immigration policy and the judiciary's role in legislative enforcement. As ICE continues its operations, public and political reactions will likely shape the conversation on how these measures align with broader immigration reform.

Key Takeaways:

  • Trump claims ICE raids lack aggression due to interference by judges.
  • Recent ICE actions have triggered public attention and debate.
  • Trump addressed various issues in his first 60 Minutes interview in five years.

He is correct. When the illegals resist. Action must be taken to get them into custody.  As long as civilians do not interfere or create problems trying to prevent the apprehension of the illegals. Then ICE and any other policing agency should use whatever means available to detain the person. Protection of citizens should be the priority of any nation. Including protection from illegal immigrants hiding out in that country.

The same happens here in Thailand. Also, in every country in the world. When there are illegal aliens in the country they are caught and apprehended and kicked out of the country.

The constitution covers people in the USA. Saying otherwise is unconstitutional.

I said nothing about constitution. These people, because they entered illegally into the US. Have broken some major immigration laws. They need to be arrested and deported. They are criminals in this sense.

Any criminal that resists, uses others as shields, flees, or is aggressive or fails to adhere to a policing action whether it be from the FBI, Sheriffs, ICE, or any other federal or local law enforcement agency, requires the use of any means to apprehend them. This is not unconstitutional as you suggest.

I was up at a major bookstore (Barnes & Noble) recently,

I asked the clerk if they had Trumps new book on how to deport illegal immigrants.

She immediately replied "Get the fawk out and don't come back"
To which I replied, yeah, that's the one, u have it in paperback? :giggle:

These ICE cowards show up at Home Pro, and car washes, and court houses, with unmarked vehicles, with no identification, no warrants, and they’re all masked, and snatch anybody that looks remotely foreign off the streets. Among those getting snatched are quite a few US citizens and green card holders, but still they get shipped off.
These are 100% Gestapo tactics. Hope these ICE ‘agents’ realize that when the Democrats get back into power, they’d better lawyer up, because they’ll be facing some serious jail time. Donald Trump has immunity, and he doesn’t give a flying **** who gets sent to jail for doing his dirty business for him.

Nixon never went to jail, but his AG John Mitchell went to jail for 19 months. So watch out, Pam Bondi.

Don't try to sugar coat this. ICE agents are fascist goons. Also unqualified and overpaid.

Round 'em up.

Just make sure that there are a few remaining to clean the toilets of Kelly Osbourne and the rest of her leftist Elite chums on "The View".

What is the problem? Immigration has been making raids like this for decades in the US. The only difference is that now ICE needs to protect their identities because the Dems weaponized the raids to make it seem like this sort of thing never happens. Whereas in fact it has been going on for a very long time, especially in California. You all are old enough to remember these immigration raids in the US before. Or are you so old now you just remember what the Dems say about this?

You said:  Protection of citizens should be the priority of any nation. Including protection from illegal immigrants hiding out in that country.

But the Constitution covers legal and illegal people equally. BTW even illegal people are supposed to have a trial.

Feel free to misrepresent that in the name of bigotry.  The original quote is "If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?"

I think the people who pick the crops do the work most Americans won’t do should be crucified.in front of their children then ship the kids off to some hellhole country just leave them on the tarmac hungry and traumatized . because they had the temerity to try to improve their lives and secure a brighter future for their kids.thats not what America represents correct?obviously I’m not serious about crucifying migrants but sometimes it’s just sad reading such ignorant comments coming from this drama queen of a president…..
