He landed at Bangkok but no one heard from him.........he/s been found in hospital in Bangkok with malaria...apparently landed at Bangkok and felt that ill he went straight to hospital and has only recently been well enough to talk to staff . Wolfie
I guess maleria is prefferable to dieing, so this is good news! At least he didnt join the ranks of the bridge jumping brigade!
PvtDick
Seeing as the incubation period for malaria is between 10 days to a month, this story doesn't make sense. Unless he was traveling somewhere else in the tropics before arriving in Thailand.
whattodo
Incredible there found him in a Bangkok hospital, Considering all the media attention and the length of time it has took to find him you would of thought that avenue was the first line of enquirey if someone is missing, Never mind wish him best of luck and a speedy recovery. simon43
I think maleria is one of those things that can come and go, if you have had it before. My father was born and lived in Eygpt for 20 years, plus another 15 in the UK army in west Africa. He contracted maleria and still gets bouts of it 50 years later.
