Can anyone kindly give me advice on obtaining a British passport for my son (half Thai). I am not maried to his mother although we have been together for 7 years and he is 5 years old. any advice would be greatly appreciated. I understand that it is not so simple as we were not matrried at the time of his birth!

Make sure he is registered in Thailand as your son. Then go to the British Embassy and register him as your son. Once they sort out the documentation, he should be eligible for a passport.

By the way, which 1/2 of him is Thai!
