November 11, 2025Nov 11 Picked this up from KK Immigration on 1st. September in preparation for my own renewal next week. No mention of STM 10 and I don't know what Document 11 is - never had a copy of an "interview" from them despite having a few 'interviews' there. Hope it's legible for you.

Apart from the usual STM 2, 5 and 9 they throw at us every year, now the new STM 10 and 11. STM10 is only requested when applying for extension based on Thai family. https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/downloads_en/

I meant the document listed at (11) on the photo-list I posted.

November 19, 2025Nov 19 I did the renewal of my Marriage Extension at KK Immigration today (19th. November). It went surprisingly well apart from the additional STM forms. We had to sign STMs 2, 9, 10 and 11. Regarding the question asked in the first post re. STM 10 - My wife signed as Affiant. We also needed a witness - but who to ask? My wife phoned her son and signed the form on his behalf, stating his name. In support of his right to act as witness, the IO asked him to send my wife a photo of his ID card via LINE and, once received, the IO asked my wife to connect with her on LINE and send the photo to her. In all, that lot took about 2 minutes - my stepson's on the ball. I was initially worried about maybe needing to drag a witness to the remote (for us) location of KK Immigration, and therefore delaying the proceedings, but their solution to the problem was neat, IMO, and sensible. In future, I'll download the STMs before attending the IO and include a witness ID card. In and out in 45 minutes, including queueing time. Without the STM forms, probably less than 30. All our paperwork was accepted as presented and nothing extra asked for (apart from STMs). This was my first visit to the new KK Immigration Office and, apart from a 200 km round trip, it was OK.

I went on Tuesday to renew marriage extension and wondered why everyone was taking so long. Found out when I got to the desk. last year I only had to do a couple of forms, this year it was 5 and my wife had to do 3. Last year took about 20 minutes at the desk, this year about 45 minutes. They had 2 desks going and I had ticket no 8, got out a few minutes before 12 so not far short of 1 per hour. Had to go back at 1.30 for passport. For some years we have always had to provide ID and blue book for 2 witnesses so that wasn't an issue. Immigration came about an hour ago to do the home visit, think that is my 8th now. No big deal only here 5 minutes, biggest problem getting the witnesses here at the same time. BTW That was our first application at the new Sri Ratcha office, opened in Jan.
