Tucker Carlson and Israel and furthering the right

Featured Replies

Quite an interesting piece on Tucker Carlson's views on America's relationship with Israel, and his recent interview with a hard-right American racist, which has split Republican's support for Carlson. While I almost never agree with Carlson on anything, I do think he has a point about Israel's outsized influence on the United States, and, to his thinking, the illogical nature of why it endures.

Right. It is quite interesting to see the ultra right wing in America defy the chummy nature of Israel-can-do-no-wrong position of Trump (and all other administrations). The American ultra right has always been suspicious of Israel and its lobby on K street in D.C., but the mainstream right wing Republicans and most Democrats buy into the 'Israel is our ally' and we must always support them spin.. and anyone who speaks otherwise is an 'anti-semite' (even though most don't understand that Jews are not the only semitic people).

White supremacists were never going to back Jews, period.

Or did nobody else hear the chants at Charlottesville?!
