January 2Jan 2 Globally, "dictatorial governments" increasing. Scholars and "little people" are wondering "how come"?Here is the recipe:a) Be a populist polititian, get elected.b) Declare that the country is in bad shape in need of "rectifications" of all sorts.c) In order to enforce "rectifications" you arm your followers with sub-machine guns and most importantly: Pay them a salary surpassing the average income by a factor of at least 3 plus plenty of other fringe benefits. This is the most important factor when it cmes to establish and maintain a dictatorship. This concept works everytime. Attaching "security forces" to you (the Dictator). =If I go under all the priviledged security forces will go under with me. Possibly the strongest motivation to keep a dictatorship alive by the beneficiaries.Needless to say, that this Kalaschnikof toting minority will do everything to keep their "breadgiver" dictator in power. Is this "news"? No, this concept goes back to biblical times. "Democracy" is a young fragile plant. An endangered fragile plant. Unfortunately.Remarkably, originally future dictators have mostly been voted into office by the "populace". Current political trends, pointing in such directions (even in the "western world) would be purely hypothetical. Or is it?
