Swiss Man Hit With Beer Bottle; Claims Attack By Prostitute And Another Guy

A Swiss citizen reported to police that a prostitute and a guy ganged up on him and attacked him. The prostitute responded that the man did not pay the entire amount that he owed her for services rendered. When she asked for the balance of her money, he got angry, pulled her hair and attacked her. Another man hit the Swiss man on his head with a beer bottle.

On 22 August 2007, at 12:30 AM, Police Lieutenant Colonel Samran Sukwatana, a Pattaya investigator, received a report that a foreigner was injured after being attacked by a prostitute. The incident happened opposite Soi 10, Pattaya Beach Road. The police rushed to the scene to investigate.

Arriving at the incident, police found Mr. Verzutto Jehn Pierre (64) a Swiss national, who was drunk. He had been hit with a beer bottle on his head and was bleeding. Mr. Pierre requested that the police arrest a prostitute and a Thai man who ganged up on him, attacked him and then ran away. Witnesses told police that they ran away toward Soi 9, near the police station. The police immediately rushed to where the alleged perpetrators had fled and arrested Miss Supatra Wongsasin, Nickname "Tai" (26), who is from Nakornrachasima Province. Miss Tai’s version of what transpired was that she was attacked by Mr. Pierre, who pulled her hair, hit her and dragged her on the street. She sustained injuries on her head and knees. Police took them both to police station for further investigation.

Mr. Pierre claimed to police that he was strolling along the beach and ran into Miss Tai, a service girl that he had used before. Miss Tai demanded three hundred baht that she claimed he owed her and made threatening moves, as if to attack him. He pushed Miss Tai away and onto the ground. At that moment, another man, presumably, Miss Tai's husband, hit him, on the head, causing him to be injured. Miss Tai and the man ran away, but the police caught up with Miss Tai.

Miss Tai claimed that she was sitting near where the incident occurred and saw Mr. Pierre came by. She was angry that a few days ago Mr. Pierre had agreed to pay her 500 baht for sexual services at the Sawasdee Hotel on Soi 10. However, Mr. Pierre only gave her 200 baht and told hotel security to throw her out. When Miss Tai saw Mr. Pierre again, on the night of the fracas, she asked for the balance of her service money. However, instead of giving her the balance of her remuneration, Mr. Pierre responded by pulling her hair, throwing her down and dragging her on the ground, causing her to sustain injuries. Miss Tai shouted out for help and a man who was passing by, whom she did not know; hit Mr. Pierre on his head with a beer bottle, causing Mr. Pierre to lose his grip on her. She and the guy ran away afterward. Miss Tai had intended to turn herself in to the police later, but she was arrested first.

After questioning both Mr. Pierre and Miss Tai, police sent them to the hospital to have their injuries taken care of. As they both pressed charges, police will need to see the injury certificates from the hospital and will investigate further to try to sort out what actually happened. Police will search for the man who hit Mr. Pierre on his head. All parties will have to face the justice system.

classic storyline with a fine cast of characters , the 500baht streetwalking hooker , the drunk 64 year old swiss man who shortchanged her ( whats the point of shortchanging when the cost is only 500 ?) and the hookers beer bottle throwing husband. you couldnt make it up.

i'd cast george cole (arthur dailey) as the swiss tourist , vinny jones as the husband , sid james as the judge , john cleese as the policeman and dolly parton as the hooker.
