Fried rice dispute erupts into restaurant destruction in Rayong

A late-night argument over fried rice in Rayong turned into a destructive outburst that was captured on CCTV and widely circulated online. The footage reportedly shows a customer damaging property inside the restaurant after complaining about the dish. The incident took place shortly after midnight on March 9 and quickly drew public attention once the video began spreading. What might have been a routine customer complaint instead ended in a violent display that left the restaurant with damaged fixtures and a fresh headache for staff. The clip has since become another example of how minor grievances can spiral dramatically when tempers boil over.

I have known people here who were at the ATM every week to get their pension. Occasionally there would be a delay and panic (or at least worry) would set in.

No ot doesn't...it shows how people don't u derstand Thai everyday culture.

I always mix up Rayong and Ranong, but o.k., this is the city near Patters and that explains a lot.

In Thailand it is well known that if you cannot control your emotions, i.e. losing your composure, it's you that is in the wrong. Wow, this guy is REALLY in the wrong. Total dufus.

Very dangerous those chop sticks !

Was the argument over "American Fried Rice" vs the Original local fried rice?

Is that a dirty farang? probably an unstable alcoholic
