Thailand Defines How Sellers Should Judge Drunken Customers

Thailand has issued formal guidance explaining how alcohol sellers should determine whether a customer is too intoxicated to be served. The move follows an existing rule under Section 29 of the Alcohol Control Act that prohibits alcohol sales to people who are already drunk. Officials say vendors who continue serving intoxicated customers who later cause injury, damage, or death could face legal penalties and compensation claims. The new guidance describes physical, verbal, and behavioural warning signs, including poor balance, slurred or repetitive speech, aggression, confusion, and drowsiness. It also lays out three practical checks: a nose-touching test, a heel-to-toe walking test, and a single-leg counting test.

You cant sell booze anywhere in the USA unless you take one of those courses about what to do with drunks. Its an insurance thing because of Dram Shop Laws

There is no blanket requirement to take a course to sell liquor in the majority of the USA.

Yeah i dont see that happening with any drun anywhere. The real test is do you sell the drunk more or cut them off.
