Donald Trump has declared that a formal deal with Iran is no longer necessary to end the war, insisting Tehran will be unable to build a nuclear weapon “for years” after sustained US and Israeli strikes.

Speaking at the White House, Trump said the conflict could be wrapped up within “two to three weeks,” even as American forces continue building up in the region for a possible escalation.

‘Deal Or No Deal — It’s Irrelevant’

Trump dismissed the need for diplomacy altogether, arguing that military action has already achieved the core objective.

“When we feel they can’t develop a nuclear weapon, we’ll leave — whether we have a deal or not,” he said. “It’s irrelevant now.”

He also played down concerns over Iran’s enriched uranium stockpiles, claiming they are buried so deep underground they pose no immediate threat.

Netanyahu Claims ‘Nuclear Capability Smashed’

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu went further, declaring Iran’s ability to produce nuclear weapons has been “smashed” during the الحرب.

He said Israeli operations had crippled Tehran’s industrial capacity to build both nuclear devices and ballistic missiles, describing it as a decisive strategic blow.

Or to acquire by other means. Saudi Arabia will want some too. Non-proliferation is all but over. Nuclear powers generally don't get attacked. I expect India to become an "official" nuclear power. Brazil likely has the technical capability as well. France and Britain are obviously nuclear powers. The reason why Germany isn't, is because of NATO (US) nuclear umbrella. France has recently offered to change its nuclear use policy from protecting France to protecting all of Europe (threats to Europe will trigger France arming). I suspect for Germany, that's not good enough, and they will want their own. Ukraine used to have nukes, gave them up, in return for assurances, and look what happened. As the former engineering heartland and brain of the USSR, they have more than a capabiliy to return to it.

I suspect North Korea are in the market to sell, and rubbing their hands, as they could do with the hard currency and sending cannon fodder to Russia hasn't proven exactly the income stream they expected.

Iran should build nukes as soon as possible to stop the 2 bully boys

(and total hypocrites) from threatening it again..a wake up for all other countries too.

Of course, this changing of messaging every couple of days by Trump does have one thing in common - Trump's trying to find a way out of Iran.

Does this mean Iran then goes all out on Israel - in other words Iran has been biding its time for America to get tired of this - then Iran goes hard at Israel? Some probably believe the US and Israeli propaganda that Iran is spent militarily. We shall see.

Didn’t he say the same thing in June after the US bombed Iran?

The problem is, even with Israel’s great intelligence sources, no one outside of Iran knows if all of the enriched Uranium was buried, or if it had been moved prior to the June strikes.

Also it is in the papers that Iran is about to sign an all areas agreement of cooperation with Russia, that will include Nuclear development. Makes it all a rather pointless war without TRUE regime change.

Are you wanting them to use them? Some here seem to want America and Israel to lose, which would unleash hell on all countries Iran's regime deem against them. Terrorists with weapons that can reach out and kill millions? The US used 2 with devastating results even though it prevented many more lives being lost.

If all countries have nuclear weapons, and seeing many world leaders have proven to be sociopaths, what's to stop them from pushing the buttons? Total nuclear weapon disarmament is actually the only logical and sane endgame. Imagine a nuclear missile hitting any city on earth, the button pushed by an insane megalomaniac who wants death to others.

We've heard this refrain before. After the US bombed Iran last June, Trump proudly proclaimed that Iran's nuclear program had been "completely and totally obliterated".

He has already turned his back on Iran, and now he is bullying NATO and all the Country's that didn't back him at the begining. The American people brought all this on supporting and voting him in now they have to suffer his folly. He has proved to be Weak once bullied himself.

Deal or not, Iran will be unable to build a nuclear weapon for years

Since Trump ripped up the JCPOA, Iran has slowly ramped up its uranium hexafloride stock to 60%. That 60% puts them 2 to 5 week away from making uranium metal and a bomb. They have had 60% uranium for a number of years now. But Iran has had a Islamic fatwa declaring nukes as "haram" so therefore they have CHOSEN not to built a bomb.

They have the ability.
They have not had the intent.

However, with two nuclear powers now attacking them in tandum, they may very well rethink that. MIT Professor Ted Postol has discussed recently that if Israel or the US decides to nuke Iran, Iran in turn - if it does not already have them - will produce upwards of 10 uranium-based bombs within two to five weeks at which point Israel will cease to exist as a nation.

What I hate about the current propaganda is that it propagates fictions, and the purpose of those fictions is to lull global public opinion and to "make pretend" that the economy and the state of the globe is just fine and will not go into a recession or depression due to this unprovoked war of aggression that Trump aimed at Iran.
Things are not OK and no amount of US propaganda is going to put this train-wreak back on the tracks for possibly years to come. Don't believe the propaganda. You're being lied to as usual.
