Bangkok Store Crash Leaves Eight Hurt After EV Slams Through Shopfront

Eight people were injured in Bangkok after an electric car lost control, hit a three-wheeled taxi, struck a noodle shop, and then crashed into a convenience store. The victims included two foreign nationals and six Thai people, all of whom were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. CCTV reportedly showed the vehicle circling a roundabout at speed before veering into the businesses. A shop owner said his relatives had already sensed danger and rushed into the store moments before the car smashed into it. Police are reviewing footage and questioning those involved as they work to determine exactly what caused the crash.
