Clascoterone 5% topical solution: game-changer for hair loss

Featured Replies

This should be available at the beginning of next year.

I've read the Chinese are developping analogues. Some of those analogues are already circulating in Asia (not as medecines but as "cosmetics").

These new drugs work like Finasteride but without the side effects. They stay in the scalp and don't go into your system.

30 years ago, a famous university hospital told me to take Finasteride.

" Ah, no, it has no side effects whatsoever"

I am not stupid, and I didn't trust them. Never took it.

Still have full hair. And had quite a bit of fun during those 30 years.

Soooo..... They found a similar one, without the side effects?

Let's talk about it again in 30 years 😄

What kind of hostpital could say a stupid thing like that? Finasteride oral was known to have bad side-effects from the start. Topical finasteride has much less side-effects than oral finasteride of course, but still gives rise to minimal blood levels.

The new topical drug (Clascoterone) doesn't go into the bloodstream at all. That's why it is strongly expected to have no side-effects.

Minoxidil has no real side-effects (in spite of going minimally into the blood stream). That's because minoxidil is not a hydro-testosterone inhibitors.
