I saw a youtuber recommend this & from what I have read online they seem fine

They do not charge a transfer fee & rates seem good

Exchange rate is slightly better than WISE, which has a transfer charge as well. BUT, WISE works for me so the apple cart will not get upset.

I cannot find the pages you have posted, going Argentina to Jordan on page 1, and Turkey to Zimbabwe on page 2. Methinks there is a page missing.

Yes Wise is fine & I use them often too.

But always good to have options

But even wise at times misses that international trans

I used Wise today did two trans from USA funny as usual it asked if I needed proof as I use long stay as reason

I said yes as usual but this time it went in seconds instead of hours & yes it showed as a domestic trans inside Thailand

I had a hunch it would as it was still 9am in US so Thai banks not even open yet & usually if I want the international trans it will not trans till banks open in Thailand

In any case no prob as it was just money & not for my 800k which I never touch in the bank.

It does not matter whether Thai banks are open or not, it still takes until the next day for an International Transfer to get here. My last one started last Sunday, arrived yesterday.

Why would you mention topping up your permanent 800k Immigration deposit? You do not need International Transfers in that case.

This does not sound like transfers to a bank in Thailand which would be necessary for visa/extension purpose.
Might be a nice addition to send some pocket money to my TrueMoney(?) wallet?

Well I didn't mention topping up I said my 800k remains static in Thailand & this was just "money" meaning pocket money

I did mention that this transfer went literally in seconds & was in my BKB account almost instantly

That is how I knew they messed up ...Because I did check for long term stay & also yes I wanted international trans proof

As for not needing international transfers for non immigration matters...well yes & no

I have taken millions of baht both in & out of Thailand

Immigration is not the only reason for showing it came in Internationally but also handy for when you move a lot of Baht out of the country you show it was not earned in Thailand so not subject to taxes (if sending more than 50k USD out at a time)

Lastly it is needed for buying condos etc

Money has to be money that was transferred into Thailand not already in Thailand
