Fare dispute at Don Mueang ends with the official covering the gap

A foreign passenger was accused of trying to avoid paying the full fare for a motorcycle taxi trip from Nana to Don Mueang Airport. The rider said the app showed a 230-baht charge, but the passenger initially handed over only 100 baht and claimed he had forgotten his wallet at a hotel. Bystanders and another driver became involved as the man tried to leave while saying he was rushing to catch a flight. After an airport official stepped in, the passenger paid 110 baht and the remaining 130 baht was transferred by the official to complete the fare. The rider later thanked those who helped, though some online commenters were unhappy that the official had to make up the shortfall.
