Thailand Launches Digital Immigration App to Speed Up Border Processing

“Future updates are expected to include online visa extension services and digital 90-day reporting for foreign residents.”

So no more adventurous excursions to the IO needed after this update and anyone who gets a rejection will be left without a clear explanation perhaps?

Yeah, sure. Right around the time they finally launch the ETA system and the 300 baht tourist entry fee, right?

From The Nation article source:

Planned features include appointment booking, visa extension applications (e-Extension), and the electronic issuance of certification documents — changes that could eliminate the need for repeat in-person visits to immigration offices, where long queues remain a persistent complaint among long-term residents and frequent visitors alike.

NB So I guess they'll have to have a do-it-yourself extension app and an agent-assisted extension app.

Yes. You will not get the QR code showing you completed the TDAC until that time, after you complete the health declaration.
