Should not be required.

Bank Book + photocopies of pages sufficient + Bank Letter.

Note: CW increasingly shifting towards 12 month bank statement.

For the sake of 200b I would provide bank statement.

The bank statement and bank letter can be obtained days prior to application

I did not need a statement in March (CW) just the bank letter, though i did order a statement few hundred baht, and had it delivered to CW, after i got the extension i went down to the bank and they had it, i did it for peace of mind

I know the question is about CW but my experience at Jomtien is I need a 3Month statement, Updated Bankbook & Bank Letter for my Fixed Deposit account (BBL).

I use an agent for convenience so don't know if this makes a difference but would have thought if I didn't need a statement they wouldn't ask me to get one.

This year I've seeded a new KBank FD account (added 400K in Jan & another 410K in March) so am hoping when I do my extension next month (Due 26th September) I'll be able to use the Kbank account and close down the BBL one.

Suggest you also obtain bank letter and bank statement for the BBL a/c.

My own example different to yours, however.....

I previously used money in bank method.

Had a FD account (450k) and a Savings account both with Kasikorn.

When I had reached the months of 400k required I closed the FD account and put funds into the savings.

So to the point.. When I went for next extension I obtained bank statements for both accounts

for the past 2 years my local immigration has requested a bank statement because the book from my fixed account has not been updated every month. Fussy lot!

I don’t want to bother going every month so I now request the 1 year statement on day of renewal.

Bank statement best policy IMO. 200b well spent.

Aside: not many update FD bank book however when I was using FD a/c money in bank, I would make deposit on day of application.
