Change of condo : 90 days report and TDAC

Featured Replies

I recently moved from a condo to another condo always in Bangkok.

I am supposed to do the next 90 days report in August.

The first question is: should I communicate to immigration now (CW) my change of address or I just wait to update it in the next 90 days report?

I am flying abroad in July for about a week.

The second question is: at the airport, when I leave and when I return, when I show my passport to the officer, have I to show the TM30 or not? If yes, should I show the one with the old address or the new address?

Third question: when I fill the TDAC , have I to write my old address or the new address?

Thank you one more time for your help.

  • Your landlord should have already done a TM30 for you. Ask them for a copy.

  • If you are travelling in July then your August 90 day report is no longer relevant. Your new report date will be the day you return + 89 days.

  • You do not have to show TM30 on departure or return.

  • The TDAC should have the address you currently live at, not the old one.

You have comprehensive reply from Upnotover.

Check now that new digs did a TM30.

That will cover change of address.

When you exit Thailand the 90 report is reset. As per post above.

After reentry the report will need to be done in person or via mail.

Yes I have the new TM 30 but it was done 8 days later than the start of the rental period written in the contract. Could it be a problem at the immigration when I will do my extension of stay?

No. Firstly you could start a rental contract for new place prior to actually moving in and can't imagine immigration interested.

They want a tm30 and the lease is a bonus.
