That's not how politics work. As we've seen diplomacy is used to attempt to reach an agreement that both parties will accept. When leaders and politicians start be what may appear to others as being to harsh, unreasonable, etc then it effects their potential to win the next election.

My view may have be distorted but I think Trump is trying to make up for decades of what he believes is not enough in a very short amount of time. He doesn't want to see gradual change. I believe Trump is very heavily results oriented. He believes that if he develops the framework, does all the work but the results are visible after he is out of office this is a Fail. He would Not get credit for anything even if it worked.

Just trying to understand what we are dealing with.

Trump is a quarterly thinker at best. His attention span is that of a goldfish. He can't read a briefing paper bigger than one A4 page.

The Chinese think in decades, or even centuries.

You may be right, man in a hurry. Problem is, almost none of his decisions can be described as rational.

Try as I might, I can't find "accujpide " in any dictionary.

So trump will still be in power when Russia occupies the EU?

He's not building the ballroom for the next president 🤔

Right, your worthless comets as usual.

With or without Trump. Eu tried to sell the U.S., to Russians but surprise, Ukraine war.

Your country has kept the same tariffs and non-tariff barriers as the EU. So it's also a protectionist racket? 😂

Nonsense.

We've made over a hundred trade deals since Brexit. If you think they are all rollover EU deals on identical terms you're mad as a box of frogs.

Or perhaps I should say mad as the EU.

Worth more than your sheer ignorance of English spelling.

I will save myself some time, goodbye.

It's just before "covfefe".

Nonsense. The average tariff level and non-tariff barriers (ex safety and health) are very similar, as UK has kept most of them. Same same.

I am not sure how I should understand your comment about trade deals. Are you arguing that they are more advantageous for UK's partners, than the original EU deals (or the new deals negotiated by the EU, ex. India)? 😃

"As of May 2026, the UK has signed 40 trade agreements with 74 countries and territories plus the EU.These agreements are broadly categorized into three types: Rollover (Continuity) Deals: The vast majority (approximately 68) are "rollovers" that replicate the terms the UK already had as an EU member." 'Hundreds of trade deals'. That box of mad frogs must contain Brexiter's.
