I have lost two teeth on left and three on right upper side Looking for best specialist dentist for implant. Requesting recommend highly reliable.

Dr. Preecha at Smile Time in Jomtien is very good. I and a number of my friends have gotten implants there, and we've all been very pleased. 082-207-9691.

Dental Art Clinic were recommended to me and I'm happy to recommend then in turn. They are next but one to the former Cafe Pitini on Soi Buakhao. Request the male dentist if given a choice (I don't know if the lady does implants).

Used OSSTEM implant which is South Korean so not your Swiss quality, but do you need a Rolls Royce or will a Toyota do?

I had an excellent implant experience at Ocean Dental, at the corner of Jomtien 2nd Rd. and Soi-5, in the plaza. Well equipped clinic, excellent English. Everything carefully explained. I was amazed at how little discomfort I experienced. For me it was about 35,000 all in 2 years ago. No bone graft needed.

Last year I had 2 done at Pattaya Bangkok Hospital. Great service. Prices range from 45K-80K. I got the Swiss implants at approximately 80K each But that also included the crown. I would highly recommend them. No issues and no problems. No bone graph.

I absolutely 2nd this opinion! I've been seeing Dr. Supaporn Metheethakerng every six months for cleaning and last year when I told her of some pain I was having, instead of just doing a money grab and replacing the teeth, the was able to use cement support that's been working for almost a year. She also performed a root canal/crown replacement with smashing success. And what services she can't perform, she will make knowledgeable referrals.

I just three days ago had an upper back wisdom molar removed and at the time the Doctor/Dentist spoke about my bottom set's replacing with implants, so this is up-to-date information.

I need four, these are not front teeth, so there's no rush.

The price, albeit I am in Kalasin, so probably cheaper where I am, was 25,000 per implant.

It's under Kalasin Dental clinic in the city, near immigration.

Suitability and Placement is the most important aspect of this surgery, bone density is critical as are important nerves running along jaw lines. See a maxiofacial specialist for the implants and then whoever you want for the teeth to be screwerd or glued

Have a femal efriend who had her 4 front teeth knocked out in a motorcycle crash a few years ago.

Gum is all healed but she wants to get the teeth done - as a girl in her twenties can't walk around with no front teeth forever!

What sort of money is she looking at? 120k? Or more?

I think 50k will be minimum per tooth. Keep in mind a lot of clinics will show implant price without crown.

I lost my front upper tooth last november.I paid 29k for Osstem implant, 10k for bone graft, 5k for flipper, 16k for crown and some smaller fees for check ups, cleaning and x-rays. It took me about 6 months from the first surgery to getting the crown.

Some years ago, a dentist in Pattaya wanted me to have 3 implants - done together, not staged timely one by one. He was so intense and pushy that I backed out.

Later, I had them done elsewhere one by one – something like two appointments each one hour long, for one implant.

Gruelling enough one by one, don’t think I could have handled 3 implants at same time.

So, I had two of these implants done in Thailand at 65k each, all went well.

The third implant, I had done in Australia, as it was right at the front (central incisor), thinking I would get a better result in colour and shape.

I was wrong, the first crown was pure white and square – nothing like it’s twin at the front. Luckily, the dentist had a kiln or furnace in the surgery and was able to rework the crown over two more visits to get matching colour and shape.

(This crown has a screw at the back so that it can be removed and replaced or modified.)

I notice some people seem to end up with a pure white crown at the front, often not the best profile – not so easy as it seems, right at the front?

Seems it needs extra work, to get a good result, like in my case.

BTW, the temporary bridge at the front (glued to two adjacent teeth) was almost good enough and did not fall out over several months while I waited for the bone graft to take.

A temporary/permanent bridge is a possibility, I just wanted it fixed one time.
