I think your quotes got messed up a bit. I certainly have not said, that all manufacturing went to China, though a lot did. Ramping up climate emissions with data centers and increasing drilling for ever more oil as a replacement is not helping the climate balance of the USA though. But as I said, this is whataboutism and a lame excuse to do nothing -- which would be okay for a morally depraved country. If you agree, that the USA is exactly that, I am satisfied and rest my case. Please write it out clearly that this is what you wanted to tell us in your subtle manner. If you think, you are "the good guys", it is on you to do more than the worst of the others, leading with a shining example. Which would, as I said, start with the bare minimum of being a partner in the climate treaties of the world.
