My neighbour is about 10 days late paying monthly condo rent, (due to medical issue) .. has a lease but no clause relating to 'now overdue' eg 10 days with PEA.

What is the norm, unwritten, situation.

Rent receipts are not normally issued,monthly invoices either. Any thoughts, cheers.

PEA just take away the meter after a while, someone can pay that using the app and bill.

Rent depends on the landlord, medical issue shouldn't prevent payment using app

He,s concerned re condo rent due not PEA thanks, Tis short of funds caused by the medical issue, not mobility not via app payment, sorry maybe my Q not clear to you

Still not really clear. Who does he pay rent too. With no invoices, no receipts etc..sounds like some under the table type of rental.

I assume owner via bank transfer or similar, I've rented for 7/8 yrs here and never got invoiced or recruits, just verbal ok usually via agent or juristic person!?? But I agree, certainly diff to back home!
