PM Anutin Promises Justice After Murder of Russian Siblings

Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul met the family of two Russian siblings murdered in Pattaya and apologised for their loss. He travelled to Chon Buri on August 2 to receive updates on the case and inspect the location where the victims’ bodies were discovered. Investigators reportedly have enough evidence to pursue charges against the two main suspects and others believed to have been involved. Police are also examining whether those accused were connected to drug trafficking, illegal firearms or additional crimes. Anutin acknowledged the damage caused to Thailand’s reputation but said the courts would ultimately determine the appropriate punishment.
