Continuous music keeps playing on both Bluetooth and earphones. It happens everywhere, you tube, on my exterior hard drive. I just can't stop it. Anyone else ever experienced this? I have tried everything even ChatGPT.

Did you ask the people who sold you the unit?

If you can identify the source, you need to go to it and hit the stop button.

What OP system are you using.

If windows 10/11 go to Task manager and look at what programmes are starting on start-up and also what services are running.

Thanks all. I got local computer guy to look at it. It seems to have been caused by a Hub with had a few things plugged in it.

That musical noise came back again on windows 11 I went to Task manager as you said and noticed a lot of movement on Edge browser, I clicked on it and the musical noise stopped immediately.

It looked as though the musical noise started after I had clicked on Edgebrowser then stopped when I clicked of again.

I now have an idea of what to do if it comes back again. So thanks.

The main problem I think is still because of my new PC mini.

These are the main reasons music will play on a PC without playing it yourself.............Music often plays on its own because a background app is open, a website tab is active, or a media key was pressed by mistake. It can also happen if a remote device or a Bluetooth controller triggers your media player.

Common Causes

• Hidden browser tabs: A website in Chrome, Edge, or Safari is auto-playing a video or an ad.

• Background apps: Spotify, Apple Music, or a game launcher is running and playing a playlist or a load screen.

• Stuck media keys: Your keyboard has a play/pause button that got stuck or pressed by accident.

• Bluetooth devices: A phone or wireless headset nearby sent a play signal to your computer.

How to Fix It

• Check the volume mixer: Open your system sound settings to see which exact app is making noise, then close that app.

• Close browser tabs: Look through your open browser tabs for a little speaker icon on the tab and close that page.

• End background tasks: Open your Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc on Windows) or Force Quit (Command+Option+Esc on Mac) to shut down stubborn music apps.

• Disconnect Bluetooth: Turn off Bluetooth for a moment to see if another device is controlling your audio.

Change to linux. Problems solved.

It must be a used minipc to have all that crap on it.

Is the PC connected to WiFi and you are using 3BB? Our TV plays stupid stuff on start up until I select a definitive channel?

Turn Off Edge Background:-

Open Microsoft Edge and click the three dots (...) in the top-right corner

Select Settings, then click System and performance on the left menu.

Turn off Startup boost.

Turn off Continue running background extensions and apps when Microsoft Edge is closed.
