Influencer’s Death Linked to Penile Filler Procedure in Thailand

British-Nigerian businessman and influencer Igho Ubiribo died after undergoing a cosmetic penile filler procedure at an unnamed clinic in Thailand during a trip to Bangkok. A London inquest heard that the 43-year-old received injections containing hyaluronic acid and lidocaine before later developing chest pain and fainting during a massage. He was taken to Sukhumvit Hospital, where doctors diagnosed a pulmonary embolism, but he died despite prolonged resuscitation efforts. A UK postmortem found material in his lungs consistent with the injected filler, supporting the Thai diagnosis and the coroner’s conclusion that the procedure caused the fatal embolism.

Looks like they hit or damaged a vein, allowing filler to enter his lungs through venous circulation.......nasty.

As the contaminated blood returned to the lungs for oxygenation, the filler was too large to pass through the smaller vessels in the lungs and blocked the flow of blood. This was a painful and frightful death. It was an unnecessary procedure.
