USS Abraham Lincoln Leaves Thailand After Five-Day Port Visit

The USS Abraham Lincoln departed Thailand on September 6 after completing a five-day port visit that provided its crew with a break from an unusually long overseas deployment. The nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, carrying roughly 5,000 personnel, had previously participated in US naval blockade and combat operations connected to the war with Iran. Democratic lawmakers have said the Lincoln set a modern-day record for consecutive days at sea during the extended deployment. The carrier arrived at Laem Chabang alongside other US naval vessels, with busloads of sailors and Marines travelling to Pattaya during their time ashore. Commanding officer Captain Dan Keeler thanked Thailand for its hospitality as the carrier resumed operations following the brief respite.

Appears to have been a successful port visit.

To my knowledge no negative news reports. Would of been headline news here.

No one fell off a balcony, no muggings, beatings in bars, gold chain snatchings on beach road, no one in a suitcase, motorbike deaths, complaints of bill padding, unpaid bins and no sailors sitting at a table with five police officers pointing their fingers at them.

You know, just the day to day Pattaya activities.

Only complaint I've heard is that the ladies of the night were less popular with the sailors than the ladyboys of the night 😋

Show us a link, as that appears to be just another shot at Americans, or is it a passion of yours also?

It's only a bit of a passion of mine to 'take shots' at war mongering criminals who send missiles into a school and kill 168 children +14 teachers., on the first day of an unprovoked, unjustified illegal war of choice.

I have had very little problems with either the ladies or ladyboys of the night thanks very much... you also might notice the sticking out tongue emoji that indicates that what was said is meant in a humorous manner, so sorry no I don't have a link for you to your lost humour 😋
