geoffphuket
South Korea's Samsung Engineering says it has received a $1.1bn(£0.54bn) order from Thailand's PTT Public Company to build two gas plants. The ethane and gas separation plants will be built in Map Ta Phut and each have a capacity of 800 million standard cubic feet per day. It is hoped that construction will be completed by for March, 2010. Samsung Engineering says it has won a combined 3.8 trillion won ($4.05bn; £2bn) of orders so far this year. That is says, means it is on track to achieve its annual target of 5 trillion won.
