A_Traveller
Anyone know where I can get these in Bangkok, especially the Golden Syrup variety? Have tried to explain this delicacy with no success. Regards PS That's my story and I'm sticking to it {pun intended}

A_Traveller
Thanks for the bump, curiously enough I was introduced to them by one of my nannies, when I was a child. {oxymoronic but reduces the risk of foolish come-backs} Regards PS I know that someone here knows the answer to this, since I recall seeing an image of them, in a thread about falang food, but my powers via search have failed to find the relevant thread. leisurely
I think they have them sometimes in TOPS. Probably the bigger ones would be the ones to try - Chidlom or the new(ish) one at Siam. Alterntively make your own, some flour, suet, pudding basin, golden syrup, butter, greaseproof paper and a means of steaming. Ask tutsi for a loan of his pressure cooker. WAERTH
have been going to many supermarkets lately as I am busy with a website project. I haven't come accross them yet. But if you spend a lot of time in a supermarket you will sometimes find some very rare goods. Waerth
