Hair Colour Products - Availability ?

Are hair colouring products for Western-type hair available in Chiang Mai or BKK ? I am thinking of products like Clairol, L'Oreal and so on, in a range of colours, for home application.

If yes, where ? Any information/catalogues for Thai stores online ?

Having looked myself many times im afraid its bad news.

The only products they seem to do here is permenant colours which contain some bleach to lighten the hair to get something other than black. If you have fairly dark hair then these may be ok for you.

I have had highlights and a darker colour done here at a hairdressers and it wasn't too expensive, especially if your used to paying western prices. The best advise, go to a hairdresser or bring some from UK/US

Do the salons usually have a range of colours for blonde, brunette etc, then, or does one need to look around ?

Most salons do have a good variety of colours. If you look at the Ladies section further down there are recomendations for some salons, worth having a look there.
