Hello Phil,

I am a Kiwi to.

Our stomping ground when upcountry is Mahasarakham area, pretty much straight east of Phetchabun and quite a way.

I have been impressed with some of the houses that have been built in my wifes village since I have been going there. The concrete floor houses with plastered brick and steel or tile roof type are simple and practicle and farang friendly.

I suppose it depends on how much you want to spend and what you want.

The wife says that the builders will travell.

Another idea is to search the forum.

If you type in house builder or something like that it will search the forum.

Type in anything that takes your fancy and it will come up.
