1 Week Trip

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am going to THailand on holidays in less than 2 weeks time.

I am looking for recommendations for places to visit.

I have lived in Thailand before but to be honest I didnt travel enough while I was there.

I will be based in Cha-am but want to go to some other places nearby - off the tourist trail if possible.

Anyone know any places in Pranburi or Chumphon?

THanks in advance

In your local area and up to Hua Hin there are some natural parks or nature things to do I seem to remember, perhaps good for day trips. Not been there for a few years. You could get into Bangkok for a day or an overnight stop. Pop up to Hua Hin itself.

I lived in Hua Hin and Cha-am before so I was looking for more info about places further south than that.....

Hopefully off the beaten track.....

I kept planning to take a trip while i was there but just never got around to it....... now that I am heading back on holidays I am trying to make up for lost time!!

Appleman, there are some very nice, quiet, unspoilt stretches of beach around Bang Sapan down to Chumphon where I live. A lot nicer than Cha Am and HH. I you drive its only a couple of hours down the road. You can even do it on a rental 125, as long as you are in no hurry. Accom is cheap and the people are great, plus you are not hassled every 2 minutes to buy a pan pipe, croaking frog, giant zippo or mickey mouse watch. enjoy :o

H2o.

That sounds like what I am looking for... perhaps what Hua Hin was like 5 or 10 years ago!??!?!?

Can you name a few of teh towns or beaches? Any recommendations on where to stay?

I have 3 weeks holidays so plenty of time to chill and relax......

THanks in advance.....

Try and have afternoon tea at the Sofitel gardens,Hua Hin.

It is one of the memorable and pleasurable,I can think of in recent years.
