Greetings! :-)

I was just about to post a question about how to say "Bamboo Shoots" in Thai......because I've eaten a lot of them this past week and they are yummy!! Well, as obscure of an item as I figgered' that would be....I decided to search the forum first just to confirm that it wasn't there already. But......to my surprise and delight......it's there already!!!

หน่อไม้ nòr máai. (Bambusa vulgaris.) Bamboo shoots. Large white conical shoots with a base about 2 to 3 inches in diameter.

Wow!! You guys on this forum are absolutely awesome!! Thank you for all your help to all of us Farangs. ;-)

One new question....how do you say "Radish Sprouts"? At Tops Market they are sold in 200gram packages in the fresh veggie area.....the label just says, "Marry Food Kaiware". A Google search revealed that "Kaiware" is radish sprouts.

Can you tell me both the way to write it in Thai and also how that Thai writing sounds in English?

CHEERS!

D
