Three, Four Or Possibly Five Days To Go

Featured Replies

...can you buy Doxycycline without prescription on KSR (or anywhere in Bangkok/Thailand for that matter - for some reason everytime i go to Bangkok i get lazy and end up staying on KSR)?

I was supposed to be arriving on December, but the lovely people who gave me a job here in Australia decided they didn't like me any more and sent me packing. Now obviously, i could just get another job, but I'm too lazy and LOS is calling. Loudly. I know that malaria tablets probably aren't needed but i want to get a few anyway - because you never know where you might end up.

Secondly, I'd like to announce my excitement at my own return, any of you who hang around the bars of Chiang Mai might see me somewhat worse for wear once or twice over the next few weeks!

About the doxycycline, does anybody know?

About the doxycycline, does anybody know?

I expect you can buy it over the counter.

Not a problem, I buy it as a malaria prophylaxis when I

have to go to Borneo, Sumatra etc.

Naka.

Yes, I reckon you could get doxycycline at just about every pharmacy in Thailand. Everywhere I have tried has had it. You will save a lot of money by asking for 'generic'. These will be counted out by hand from a large bulk bottle and put into a little plastic zip-loc bag. If you want the brand name ones sold in a box packed in foil strips you will pay a lot more.
