An unscrupulous painter got a job to paint the exterior of a small church located on the Colorado prairie. In order to maximize his profits by using less paint, he diluted his paint with water.

As soon as he finished the job, a huge rain storm appeared and washed all the diluted paint off the church. The painter was distraught, and cried out in anguish, “What am I going to do now”?

There was a loud clap of thunder, and a stern voice came down from the clouds, “Repaint and thin no more”!
