decided to stay longer in thailand but travel insurance is now out. any idea of a company i can get good travel insrance from for the next 6 months but as im already in thailand, BA wouldnt do it as im not in the uk at the moment.

International SOS sell travel insurance when you are outside your home country. I think it's called the Expatriate Travel Insurance Package or somesuch, I looked into it a few months back.

BUPA Thailand offers insurance for short term visitors.

I think there is one called nomads or something. Google it.
