SiamOrchids
We need help. We just moved into our new house in Kanchanaburi and IPstar is our only source of Internet. We need to get all 3 computers back on track: U torrent, Vonage, etc. Nothing seems to work right anymore since we moved. I use a Linksys router, but port forwarding is impossible for me to do, I've been trying for days. Are there any members in my area that can come to the house and get us set up properly. I'd be happy to pay a reasonable fee for your time. Thanks
monty
I'm not entirely sure here, but I'm of the impression that the iPSTAR box acts as a router (it sure has a dhcp server built in), so this would mean that port forwarding has to be set-up inside the iPSTAR box, and no router should be put behind it, but instead a simple network switch if you need to hook up more devices! Monty, thanks. That makes sense BUT is the IPstar router wireless ? We did have the technician (ha) from TOT set up the box for 5 computers but ..... What do you mean by a "simple network switch" ?
