Does Bangkok Still Allow The Grandfather Option ?

Hello,

has anyone here recently been given the one-year extension of stay in Bangkok (Suan Phlu)

with the grandfather option (married to Thai citizen and 400 000 Baht in Bank) ?

There was a post a couple of weeks ago by Bradford who was refused his extension on the Bank

option in Korat but instead was made to pay tax on a salary of 40000 Baht/month and the extended.

The same info was given to me here in Phang Nga so i'd like to know how Bnagkok handles it these days ?
