last time I didnt go for a tourist visa but just went for a regular stamp through a visa run to cambodia.

This should have worked out perfect as this will expire on the 26th of this month and i had to get back to work before that date anyway. Now my company has extended my leave for a bit longer (1 week)

would it be possible now to get an extension to this entry stamp at soi 8 or do i have to get back to cambodia to get myself a new stamp??

Apply for an extention, you should get 10 days at the regular fee of Baht 1900.

After that no more extentable.

Careful, on the visa-exemption (and tourist visa) extention count from day of application granted, not from expiry date.

Take your onward ticket with you,they might ask to see it.

It's roughly the same price as a visa run.

Why not spend the day in a bus, seeing all the beautiful roadworks, being accosted by kiddy-beggars at the border, queuing for a new entry visa and so on?
